Team Premier a Landmark 43 helmed by promoter Claus Landmark and owner Dag Skarsgard with a Norwegian crew has won the 2009 Dubai-Muscat Offshore Race. The 350 mile race from Dubai through the straits of Hormuz to Muscat in Oman is a major fixture in the growing Gulf sailing season, featuring as the Norwegians reported “night sailing under a wondrous carpet of stars dressed just in shorts and t-shirts”.
