The Corby IRC26 (new for 2007), a proper little yacht. Inboard sail drive engine. Sturdy rig. Roomy interior. IRC rating 0.960
Foam core, continuous fiber reinforcement and Vinylester resin. Alloy rig with overlap genoa.
The inevitable question is how does this boat differ from the old 25. The Corby 25 started in 2000 and since then underwater shapes have become smoother because of torpedo keels. The bulb weight of a torpedo keel is further forward so the centre of buoyancy of the hull can also move forward, hence less hull volume under the cockpit and a smoother overall hull shape.
The 26 still carries an overlap rig and above the waterline will look very similar to the 25 however downwind it will be noticeably quicker. The cockpit is bigger and the inside has been updated.
The IRC26 will fit inside a 40 foot container, so deliveries worldwide available at good rates!
Delivered as a complete package this boat makes a superb entry club racer, trailer width and centre-liffting points makes launching and moving the boat between regattas very easy.
